Since its inception, GOTIKA has supported countless films, educational projects, and events with the sole intention of preserving audiovisual memory and pushing those who make motion pictures a reality to specialize and reach new standards. From the restoration and reopening of film classics, support for new films to compete in festivals, to prizes at BAFICI given for the first time in history to the completion of full-length films.

In this history of more than 20 years, have emerged professionals, colleagues companies, and entities that joined GOTIKA in the continuous support of artists, technicians, and scientists.

Giving those interested in different types of support a serious alternative and being able to continue adding adepts, were the bases that inspired the desire to create an entity that can transcend the limits that we had as a company. Thus was born the dream: a foundation that can attract business and individuals willing to help those who will build the audiovisual future, and can educate and promote the makers of that future; a foundation that includes the name of a disruptive project that has run –and continues to do– all known limits.
